Drawing as a Process of Psychic Mediation Along the Child´s Developmental Trajectory

INTRODUCTION: The intrapsychic process of resorting to the symbolic is innate and prepares child for organization his internal world. Throughout child's developmental trajectory, its playful projective expression, allows us assess psychographically internalized stages development. present study aims evaluate mental representation concept symbolism, size, perspective designed percepts along trajectory (age range from 4 12 years). 
 METHODS: Patients were invited produce two drawings depicting a Healthy Tooth an Unhealthy Tooth. qualitative content grid analysis was originally pictorial representations found in sample. However, this article, we only intend results obtained regarding Symbolism, Size Perspective categories that are part grid. RESULTS: Regarding Symbolism Category, most respondents between 6 years age, pictorially represented Unrealistic Tooth, 10 onwards there marked decrease (Un)Realism. Teeth 8 old seem increase terms their dimension. When it comes percept drawn 2D clearly prevails, regardless age. CONCLUSION: Results show (Un)Healthy teeth early during childhood psychographic development be reliable indicators child´s symbolism.
